Memoirs of an Imaginary Friend

As there have not been many people posting anything in any of the book club forums, I thought I would add a review/recommendation for this book that I have recent read.

This book is AMAZING (As most books seem to be) but this book in particular, it had me hooked throughout the entire novel.

Memoirs of an Imaginary Friend by Matthew Dicks is based around Budo, the 3 Year Old imaginary friend to 6 year old Max. Max isn't an ordinary kid though, he has Asperger's, otherwise known as Autism. Only Max can see Budo, because he is imaginary, but Budo is very much real. The concept behind Budo is very interesting because although he was created by Max, he has his own thoughts and feeling separate from Max's, and not even Budo is 100% sure of what goes on in Max's head most of the time. Only Max can see Budo, but Budo can see other imaginary friends as well.

This story is full of humorous moments, and things that will break your heart, I recommend this to anyone looking for a very light read.
